Merci Beaucoup Tattoo

Mission Statement

Can we do more?

Merci Beaucoup Tattoo was founded around a simple question: can we do more?

I’ve been tattooing for eight years, and along the way, I’ve fallen deeply in love with the craft. I’m equally grateful to the clients who have trusted me, collaborated with me, and helped shape my career.

But I’ve started to wonder whether loving what you do is enough.

“But I’ve started to wonder whether loving what you do is enough.”

I want my work in this industry to have a purpose beyond making good tattoos and building successful careers. I want it to contribute to something shared—to create a space where artists and clients can make meaningful work together while giving something back to the community around us.

Merci Beaucoup Tattoo is an experimental studio built around that idea. It’s a place for artists to develop their careers, explore their work, and build lasting relationships with their clients and each other.

25%

Twenty-five percent of all profits are donated to a nonprofit chosen by the studio; currently, that organization is Animal Haven.

The goal isn’t to build the biggest shop or maximize profit for its own sake. I want artists to feel free to experiment, collaborate, and grow in a studio where they feel safe and supported—one that remembers the people and community that made it possible in the first place.

We’re interested in a different model: make good work, take care of the people doing it, contribute where we can, and stay sustainable along the way.

Not every business needs to scale.

Sometimes the best ideas are the ones that stay right-sized.
